Greenville NC - January 2011 Events


Winterfest Raleigh
Go ice skating at the AT&T Raleigh Winterfest Ice Rink. Located in City Plaza, on the southern end of the 400 block of Fayetteville Street. Admission including skate rental is $8.00 for both adults and children.

Hours generally are:
Mondays – 11am to 9pm (except Jan 10)
Tues, Wed, Fri – 4pm to 9pm
Thurs – 10 to 11 for Stroller Skate; 4pm to 9pm
Sat – 11am to 11pm
Sun – 12pm to 5pm
Jan 27 to 30 they are open 11am to 11pm.

Special Events:
January 9 and January 16. SnowMyYard.com will create a winter wonderland for sled riding. NO FEE and sleds are provided!
Family Tuesdays: A family of three to six skates for just $20 (includes skate rental)! The first ten families will receive a $10 gift card to a downtown restaurant.
Music Craze Wednesdays: Enjoy live music at the rink from 6 pm-9 pm.
Stroller Skate Thursday Mornings: Parents and babies share outdoor fun! Skate and push a strollers on the ice from 10 am-11 am. Click here to read an article and watch a video about stroller skating!
Date & Skate Thursdays: Free carriage rides with skating wristband from 6 pm-9 pm.

The School of Music at East Carolina University presents the Four Seasons Chamber Music Festival January 13 at 7:00 p.m. and January 14 at 8:00 pm. Concerts will be held in Fletcher Recital Hall.

Jolly Skull Beer Fest
